Aurich, July 09, 2025 - Every three years, KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE AG organizes its International Symposium. This major three-day event kicked off today with around 80 participants from all over the world.
"We are delighted that our event is attracting more and more guests, with around 80 people taking part this year - a record. We really appreciate this, especially as some of the journeys to us are very long," explains CEO Dr. Dieter Köster.
Participants from Canada, Chile, Colombia, Tunisia, Sudan, Jordan and many other European countries made the journey to Aurich.
This year, KÖSTER partners in particular will be giving presentations. These will cover topics such as the use of KÖSTER products in monument protection, the waterproofing of water reservoirs, waterproofing with the KÖSTER Injection System, but also the development of a new market in Jordan and the use of social media to promote products using Panama as an example. There will also be reports on the general strategic positioning of the company and news from the marketing department.
"A special highlight will be the presentation by our guest speaker Dr. Aditi Bunker," says CEO Dr. Dieter Köster. "Dr. Bunker is an epidemiologist and coordinates the "Climate Change and Health Interventions" working group at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, Heidelberg University Hospital. She is particularly concerned with the health risks posed by overheating in residential buildings and will inform us about possible solutions using so-called cool roofs."
In the practical part of our event, we will provide an insight into the application of various products, including new ones. This will involve demonstrations of mortar products, sealants, injection systems, floor coatings and roofing membranes.
"As an integral part of our internal communication, the symposium is very important to us," says Dr. Dieter Köster. "We are expecting an exciting event with lots of interesting discussions between industry experts and therefore a high networking factor."
A supporting program with a digital scavenger hunt, a barbeque in the beach club and a festive closing dinner with a magician will provide variety and relaxation in addition to the wealth of specialist information.
